Lokpal Vs Corruption

Nobody likes corruption. This cancer should be stopped. I don’t think anybody will be averse of any reasonable strong act which does not violate fundamental of constitution. I feel present government have willingness to do that. We should applause them for RTI Act. I don’t know about Anna because he never held any elected / selected post where I can put parameter to gauge. But, uptill now, I can say ManMohan Singh is honest, sincere, educated, learned and visionary. If anyone doubts him, we should investigate that man first.

Corruption is there since the beginning of human civilization in one way or the other, not all of sudden in ManMohan tenure. To find a solution of corruption we need to think logically as why it exists. Corruption is a natural consequence of disparity of economic conditions in a country like ours. Neither, honest and sincere ManMohan Singh / or clean and hardworking Sonia Gandhi is route cause of corruption; nor Kapil Sibbal. Most of Indian are directly or in directly involved in various mode of corruption themselves.

I can understand and sympathize with Anna and his true supporter’s frustration over corruption. They have every right to protest against any grievance and should not tolerate corruption. A reasonable appeal and protest can be made to enact any useful law to encounter corruption. As my responsibility of being Indian citizen I do support any movement against corruption, but it should not be against the government rather against the entire system, which includes even us. But Anna is conveying that get ENACT HIS LOKPAL BILL EVEN PARLIAMENT REJECT. This is objectionable, obnoxious, unacceptable and unconstitutional besides being irrational. I support strong and harsh LOKPAL provided it is within four corner of constitution and practically possible. But they should not rule over the head of the elected government. I know they can not, but are trying to shake one of the pillar of constitution. Of course Anna can fast unto death against corruption, but he cannot fast unto death saying ENACT HIS LOKPAL (non-constitutional authority) EVEN PARLIAMENT REJECT.

Most important to remember is “END SHOULD JUSTIFY THE MEANS”-this is thumb rule of fair play. Which Anna missed. Following Modi (the most corrupt), RSS, VHP, BJP and allied are supporting Anna’s LOKPAL movement. I BOLDLY DENY ANY LOKPAL WITH THE HELP OF THESE CORRUPT. These corrupt are not against corruption rather they are icon of corruption. Pardon me, I can live without LOKPAL but not with support of OSAMA BIN LADEN and GEORGE BUSH. Any reasonable person should have been shouted back on Modi to give back his support. Look Anna, mostly, those on streets are not your supporter. I saw, in lucknow he was Surya Pratap Shahi leading your supporter, in Gujrat Modi factor. They want to take advantage of Anna to fulfil their political career. Anna is abusing government and wants us to support and after that some political parties will take a political mileage out of it. If Anna team is really serious and want the LOKPAL bill to be passed according to the standard or correction they want. They should try and meet all elected body in Indian parliament and set an agenda rather to blame governemnt to impose his Lokpal on parliament. Why not all the member of parliament who are supporting Anna in front of media, raise their voice in parliament.

Now, this issue is emotional rather than rational, where media hyped audience is making a mockery of democracy in such a sensitive issue which challenge entire constitution of India and some Idiot is comparing Great Gandhi with Anna. Gandhi was not like Anna. He never accepted support of any tyrant. Even he disengaged himself with a patriot like Bhagat singh when it comes to voilence so how come he will accept support of Modi & Co.

Now come to proposed draft, trillion rupees question is whether Anna’s Lokpal is practical and workable. Whether its basic idea of appointing ‘people’ to check into the corruption of other ‘people’ holds good. Do you think that bringing the PM and the Supreme court under its purview will be good for us.

In sum. Anna is proposing, create 10 positions of absolute power having power of CBI, judge, prosecution and stringent punishment with supposed power even over the elected prime minister and the Supreme court. He wants these positions of power to be vested in 10 members and one chairperson, out of which only four are required to have legal background without necessarily having any judicial experience. Who guarantee, these posts will not be vulnerable to misuse if Supreme court judge and prime minister can do so. This revolutionery idea is superfluous. Our hyper sensitive and emotionally driven country has grabbed it to create an issue out of something non-specific and trying to de-stabilize a government without actually offering a solution. What exactly are we doing with our online and offline campaign for Anna’s Lokpal. We are implying, like Anna, that the present government is not doing its job and should be replaced? Who will replace it, surely BJP probably with help of BSP. And who will be your prime minister – may be 6 Month Secular Mayawati and 6 Month Communal Advani (both are corrupt, they are neither secular nor communal). I prefer ManMohan I support ManMohan.

Police Firing in Pune

Shocked to see at police firing in Pune on Kisans. Whatever, without going into the detail, it shows arrogance of police. The way, they did this misdeed is simply shameful, painful and regrettable. Cops were chasing to kill Kisans. More painful is the heinous politics over it. Politicians are indulging in blame game. The will make this issue to mobilize support. For them it is an opportunity to malign counterpart.

Let’s see the fate of odious act of police. I feel pity upon us as this whole governance system is by us.

Babri Mosque

On September 30, 2010 Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court declared most awaited verdict of Babri Mosque. The judgement runs into 8,142 pages as analysed herein below:

In Sum. Two Judges (S.U. Khan and Sudhir Agrawal) ruled that disputed land should be divided equally among Muslim, Hindu and Nirmohi Akhara. Ld. J. Dharam Veer Sharma ruled that Babri Masjid cant have character of Mosque as it is against the tenets of Islam. Ld. J. S.U. Khan ruled that Babri Masjid was Babri Masjid and no proof is there that this was birth place of Ram and Ld. J. Sudhir Agrawal relied on the faith and belief of Hindus to declare that place as birth place of Ram.

It is, merely, insolvency of mind that Ld. J. Dharam Veer Sharma relied upon (and cited also) Quranic verses and Hadis (prophet saying) to justified that Baabri Masjid is against the tenet of Islam. Undoubtedly, he is not an expert of Quran/Hadis or typical Islamic provisions. He is expert of law and better he should have confined himself to law of land. His noted conclusion is as follows:

“The disputed building was constructed by Babar, the year is not certain but it was built against the tenets of Islam. Thus it cannot have the character of Mosque.”

Also, while he was justifying the undisputed land as Birth place of Ram he looks hypnotized. Culmination on the basis of fanciful argument is there. Words are full of spirituality. In the domain of law and justice- sprit follows the letter, however I agree if you are in temple it should be vice-versa. Law is always above sprit in the court of law. He quoted as follows:

“The disputed site is the birth place of Ram. Place of birth is juristic person and deity. It is personified as the spirit of divine worshiped as birth place of Lord Ram as a child. Spirit of divine remains present everywhere at all times for anyone to provoke at any shape or form in accordance with his own aspirations and it can be shapeless and formless also.”

Now come to the Ld. J. Sudhir Agrawal, he relied upon faith and belief of Hindus: quoted as- “It is declared that the area covered by central dome of the three dome structure being the deity of Bhagwan Ram Janamsthan and birth place of Lord Ram as per faith and belief of Hindus belongs to them.”

It is worthy to mention Mulayam Singh Yadav statement, his reaction to the judgement, “Desh kanun se chalaye jate hai vishwas se nahi” (Countries are governed by law not by faith/belief/spirit).

Factually (accepted by all learned judges and independent mind except Rashtriye Sevak Sangh-RSS), Babri Masjid was Babri Masjid. City Magistrate of Faizabad attached the Masjid on December 23, 1949 (that day Friday prayer was offered) under section 145 of Cr.P.C. to avoid dispute/maintain law and order. It was Government who took custody and prohibited prayer (namaz) just after two year of independence and Muslims never get it back from Government. Properties should not be snatched under the gauge of Cr. P.C. 145. This section is just to maintain law and order not to allow demolition/possession of rivals.

I am not averse to decision as long as it relates to build any temple except on land after demolition of any religious place. Governments should not allow demolition of one religious place to build another religious place. Judiciary should not close it’s eyes; to not to see the mockery of law.

It is most appropriate to quote Fidel Castro Speech (given in 1953 to defend himself -rather to expose tyranny of ruler, as he sought Jail not release in his relief plea)

“And so much talk to justify the unjustifiable, to explain the inexplicable and to reconcile the irreconcilable! The regime has reached the point of asserting that 'Might makes right' is the supreme law of the land.

All judges and courts are under the obligation to find solutions to conflicts.........................No matter how venerable a court may be, it cannot assert that circles are square...

Remember that today you are judging an accused man, but that you yourselves will be judged not once, but many times, as often as these days are submitted to scrutiny in the future. What I say here will be then repeated many times, not because it comes from my lips, but because the problem of justice is eternal and the people have a deep sense of justice above and beyond the hair splitting of jurisprudence.

The guilty continue at liberty and with weapons in their hands - weapons which continually threaten the lives of all citizens. If all the weight of the law does not fall upon the guilty because of cowardice or because of domination of the courts, and if then all the judges do not resign, I pity your honor. And I regret the unprecedented shame that will fall upon the Judicial Power.”

I agree with his words.

Sheikh Baquer Ali “Chirkeen”

Sheikh Baquer Ali “Chirkeen” was a unique, first and innovative shayar. A poet from Lucknow, he rarely, if ever, used sexual content in his verses. His great love was excreta! which makes him unique and different from others. Allama Chirkeen's specialty seems to interesting and acceptable. In earlier days, he wrote beautiful 'regular' ghazals, but his bayaaz was stolen by some people who had some of the poems published under their names in Hyderabad and elsewhere. At one mushaaerah in the Deccan capital, unaware of this fraud, he recited a ghazal and was booed by some people who assumed he had stolen the ghazal from one of the books. In anger, he swore never to write a line of verse that any persons would steal and be willing to call their own and went on to write hundreds of shairs, each one containing some scatological term.

I do recall seeing few giggly references among some people which did not really appreciate the technical perfection of his shayree, despite the constraint he had placed on himself. I am sure, many will turn their noses away from this post (although smells are not yet easily embedded into Docs). There are many who appreciate his technical perfection and mastery on the language. Other languages also have great tradition of such humour, e.g. Mark Twain, Rabelais and others written on the topic. The difference is that the west has printed a lot of these works but - a pity - that such works of our classics in this genre will get lost.

Compilation of his poetry (Deevan-e-Chirkeen; a 46 pages book) is available in market. We can enjoy the rich and topical shayri by this classical, unique, first and innovative shayar.

Anger-"The Fire Within"

Anger is one word short of danger. Really, the moment we get angry we are in danger. Sure,we will loose, we will suffer. It effects mental process, our decision making system. In most of the cases, it results in shame, regret and disappointment.

Anger is weakness. Angry person is like patient; proper treatment is requirement. The person who controls anger save himself from fire. When we get angree all our shortcomings comes up at thier peak. It is like a virus which damages our restraint power, our coating, our fence. We loose control on ourself. It makes us slave.

It to be noted. Anger is obivouse state of mind. It is purely natural. It is reaction of what we percive wrong. It is in human instict. However, it need to be controled. Yes, revenge should be there. Anger should flow out. But at appropriate time and through proper way. We should wait for time; and search for proper way. Control it, let the time come, then give wayout. Utilize this fire for benefit. Dont burn yourself.

Patience~"Companion of God"

“Inna-allaha maa ass sabereen” (God is with them who do patience).

On patience I think this verse is quite conclusive and sufficient.

I am believer. I know God through Islam; and none(in all sect of muslims) doubts about a single verse of holy Quran. And it is there. This is clear, categorical, absolute, complete and comprehensive verse of holy Quran. Almighty is the companion of patience. In your other deeds(surely good) Almighty may or may not be with you, but if you are patient He is with you. Yes, patience is the characteristic that worth for that. So, i have no reason to disagree that patience is super quality. There is no iota of doubt. If someone doubts, he looses the companionship of God. I say, he is stupid. He is taking unnecessary risk to loose favour of God. It is conclusive, if God is with you, sure you will win. This is win win situation.

Patience can not be equated with postponement, delay, lazyness and lethargicness. It is state of activeness rather proactiveness; not passiveness. Patience mean to keep endurance in hard time. It conveys disagreement, resentment and revolution. Message of patience is always strong and long lasting.

Patience is power; It is not weakness. It creates confidence, coolness, determination, decisiveness and rationality. Patience is source of energy. It nourish. Patience is not outcome of fear and cowardness; it is product of courage and bravery. It is effective tool in the hand of wise and revolutionaries. It compels to kneel down the operessor.

I pray for God companionship.

Defeat to Death

I hate to die. I wanna defeat this biological process of demise. Carefully, I wanna defeat it; not denying. Nobody can deny death but it can be defeated, I think so. We can overcome of death. End of biological process is not the real and de-facto death. Yes, after this transition we can live.

There are two types of people –one, those who are living to die and another who are living to be alive forever. Those who are living to die are in majority. I dont like to part with majority. I disagree with majority. Minority appeals me. In minority, i find aliveness.

I love my life. I live my life. I wish to be alive.
